Second time I ran into him, we were in the candy aisle, and he started going on about "have you checked out their rice pudding? 1 tin a day. it's got all the milk and blah blah blah blah". I said something about how I'd have to check it out (lie), then walked around a bit more, before catching sight of him again, and deciding it'd be in my best interest to hot foot it to the check out. Didn't run into him there, although I did notice him walking into one of the other lanes, and on the way out, noticed him sitting at one of the tables in the front area, so I just waved at him, then quickly walked out.
Honestly, WTF!? I had no clue who he was, and although he made it seem like he recognized me, that obviously wasn't the truth. WTF indeed.
So yeah, I have the night off. When I came downstairs this afternoon, there was a note underneath the monitor here from Dad telling me to call Taco Bell. I threw the thing out without even thinking about it. I knew they'd want me to close, because Josh was whining about tonight on Saturday. Seriously though, it's a Monday night. Those are the most dead shifts each and every week. There's no reason they should need to call anyone else in.
Anyways, I spent most of the day today playing Okami. I've made a fair bit of progress already (just up to clearing up the large city (can't think of the name)), and chances are I'll go back to playing it in about an hour. I just want to take a bit of a break from it right now :p
One more thing right now, and it involves work. On Saturday night, I was on drive through, yes? I took some guy's cash, and his change due was only a couple cents, so I asked him if he wanted it. From all the way down by the safe, Josh pipes in "you can't be asking that". Once again, WTF? I'm so sick of constantly getting told there these days that we can't do this, and can't do that. The place is going to hell. Let's face it. I just hope I won't be around when it happens.
That's all for now though.
