Boredom (Once Again)

I have Twilight Princess, Cooking Mama, and Trauma Center: Second Opinion (as in the first one that came out for the Wii) down here right now, but I don't feel like playing any of them. I wonder if there are any other decent games out for the Wii... Blah.

But there is one thing that's on my mind right now:

Regardless of whether you think it's going to be busy or not, there's absolutely no reason you should be carrying stuff over at putting it away at 1:30. I'm talking about Steve. His logic was that the only customer they got last night between 1 and 2 was the girl from Tim Hortons, so thus the same thing would probably happen tonight. Yeah right.

She came through once again, got her tacos, and gave us drinks and donuts (we're so spoiled :p), and as she pulled away, I noticed there was another car at the speaker.

They wanted a family pack -_-

As I was taking the order though, Michelle pointed out that Steve had just taken everything back to the walk-in. Note that it was only quarter to or so. We made the order anyways (after much grumbling from Steve), followed by another customer driving off because we didn't have what they wanted.

I understand the whole idea of wanting to get out of there as soon as possible, but the lengths we're starting to go to are ridiculous. It's common enough with Michelle as the closing manager to close at 10 to, but that's about as far as it goes.

Closers are the same tomorrow night, but at least I'll be on line instead.

So yeah. I think I might go to McDonalds this morning (once again, provided Adam has to work), but there's not much to say other than that.

It's sort of funny. Looking back at those two or three entries (hint: "Change in Seasons"), and thinking about how I must've felt then. Things are more or less alright right now, but something or other crossed my mind at work tonight (can't remember exactly what), and I was just, well (as cheesy as it sounds) overwhelmed by that (to quote the thread and blog entry title that I made back at DR (as in before I even created this journal)) "tired of it all" feeling. There's something strangely comforting about it (although in this case, it's probably a bad thing), but at the same time, I'd do anything to shake it.

Random: brackets are (very) fun :p That and Tim Hortons' hot apple cider is disgustingly sweet. They were out of hot chocolate tonight, so I settled for one instead, and I could hardly stand to finish it.

But anyways, might as well haul my giant tail back upstairs (I'm using it instead of those fur throws for a change :3), then play at least one of those games~
