Long story short, I'm going to work tonight. I plan on telling Ange as soon as I get there though that if there's any chance of it, I'd like to not be on drive through for one night. Steph's only in from 9 to 3, so there shouldn't be any reason she can't take drive through 'till then, and I'll do it for the last hour. I'm just tired of always having to do the same thing there. It's boring, it's annoying, it's ridiculously repetitive, and 9 times out of ten, when I'm working a night shift, I get stuck on it. That's partly the fault that I'm still (almost a year later) the newest regular closer. Seriously, there are other people that do close from time to time that are new, but there's still yet to be anyone that gets hired there strictly for closes since I did :\
I'm honestly looking forward to tonight though. Well, any night really. It's the best when we're finally closed, and I walk back to the bathroom, put my headphones on and start playing whatever music on my PSP, then just do whatever you notice that needs to be done before the store actually closes. It's really that I like the job. The job itself is fun, and I'm glad I have it. The people I have to work with are another story though. Some of them are okay (working with Kevin is always awesome), but others are just a pain in the ass.
Anyways, I finally hold in my hands the player's guide for Tales of the Abyss :) With the 20% discount you get when you buy the guide when you get the game (I still had the receipt, so it worked out), it was under $20 :D So far I'm just up to having fought the Liger Queen, on Hard mode. I was really surprised at the results of that boss fight, because according to the end-of-battle display, I got over 20 GRADE from it alone. 10 for beating a boss, and 10 for something else. Unknown difficulty is going to be interesting when I get to it, although that's going to involve figuring out infinite combos first. Not that they're necessary or anything, but it seems that they'll make it quite a bit easier.
So yeah. Right now, I've got exactly 18 minutes to go before I have to leave for work. Let's just hope it doesn't go too badly :p
