And I Thought it was Over

Earlier on tonight, I was talking with Manoah on line, and he said something about how he hadn't asked me about my "girlfriend" in a while. Then Josh comes out of nowhere, and together, they kept guessing names, because they couldn't remember the proper one, then finally Josh said "I remember! It's Crystal!" Cue the usual questions after that, but I got tired of them pretty quickly, so I looked Manoah dead in the eye and asked him "Haven't you checked your emails yet?" For what it's worth, here's what I sent him originally:

He got this look of surprise on his face, said no, then proceeded to ask me even more questions. Then Josh started going on and on about how he was offended, because we've been friends for how long, and so on. Told him that it really wasn't as spectacular as they were probably thinking, but they wouldn't believe me.

So before leaving at 3, I told Manoah that if he did indeed still have the email, that he should send me a reply back, and if I didn't get one by tomorrow or so, I'd send it to him again. I sent the first one to him on April 24th, so there's pretty much an equal chance that he still has it as not. I did tell him he could forward it to Josh though, so that might end up being more trouble than it's worth, but we'll have to just wait and see.

Aside from that though, tonight did go pretty well. Steamed for the first hour or so, then started frying. Way too much frying. Two pans of salad shells, three packages of pizza shells, one pan of cinnamon twists, about half a pan of red strips, 12 pans of loose nachos, and two pans of bagged nachos. ~4 hours' worth. Then we went out on our breaks, after which I took over drive through for a bit, then me and Josh deckscrubbed, I cleaned and set the fry dump back up, then went home.

I forgot my pants and shirt though, but I called Josh, and he said he'd drop them off on his way home, so whatever. I am disappointed that the pants I forgot there are the only ones I currently have with belt loops though. It'd be rather fun to answer the door while wearing one of my tails :3 But that could end up being more trouble than good as well, so maybe it's for the best right now~

Also found out that I have to walk there tomorrow as well, but tonight is was a nice change from getting a ride, so...

And the schedule for next week is now up. I close from Tuesday to Sunday :\

Feh. Time to go find out where Dad went right now. He went into the basement when we got home, and hasn't come back up since :s

Unexpected Surprises

Was not expecting that. Josh dropped off my clothes for me, exactly as planned, but Steph and Manoah were also with him. Steph had to use the bathroom, and Josh took it upon himself to show her where it was (most likely some sort of "it's not my house but I still know where everything is" type thing), leaving Manoah on the front porch by himself.

I whispered something about not stalking to him, because he accused me of doing such after I called them earlier, he picked up, and I said I knew it'd be him :p Then he asked if he could come in, and I opened the door.

Josh came down shortly after that, so I went back to playing Guitar Hero II, when he turns to Manoah and says "Yeah this is the game". Then he (Josh) got to playing it himself, and I sat down at the computer to do a couple things.

No sooner than I had, and Manoah had gotten ahold of my laptop, and was looking at the desktop. Very uneasy moment. I was fighting the urge to tell him "Don't open the folder named "^fur", for reasons you can probably guess, but had I done so, I'd at least have been asked why not :p

And then from there things were a mess of setting up Wii Bowling for them, Steph doing something or other on the other computer, Josh playing Guitar Hero II, and Manoah following me up to my room because he wanted to see my games :s That was interesting, because he started asking me what various items were on my top bunk (card reader, GBA Micro, action replay, etc.), while meanwhile I was expecting him to turn around, see the tail I just have sitting out in the open, and ask "What's that?" Meh. I do worry about these things too much.

They've left to walk the rest of the way home right now, and I've gone back to just sitting here~ Don't know what time I'll be getting to bed, but it feels like I've still got an hour left, at very least, so I might as well find something to do :3

At Least it Rained

Just as I was getting to bed this morning (around 8 or so :p), I could've sworn I heard some strange noise outside, so I got up, looked out my window, and was pleased to see that rain was indeed falling. No thunderstorm, of course, and it's stopped now, but whatever.

Nothing to really do right now, except just wait for 7. Mom and Dad are going out for supper, so I have to walk to work once again (as I already said), but that means things'll actually work out the way I wanted them to last night, tonight. Of course, if they ask me to stay 'till 5, I will probably end up saying "Sure", but that shouldn't happen unless the store's a complete mess. Last night as soon as I got there, I asked Josh what time it was, then said something about hopefully being able to leave at 3, but just got snappily told "If everything's done". Meh. I just hope I end up getting stuck with either the random cleaning up or dining room tonight. It's me, Steve, Josh, and Jerome there 'till at least 3, so it most likely won't happen though...

And no reply received from Manoah yet, but it'll probably just be easier to ask him tonight. Mostly because sending it to him again, the same night I'm scheduled to work with him would be a bad idea :p As for Josh, if he continues bothering me, I'll probably just tell him the same thing I've told Manoah and Ange. Unfortunately, if anyone's not going to leave me alone about it, it's him, but like I said quite a while ago, he's going to find out eventually, so I don't know why I worry so much about it :x

... I swear. Adam really needs to invest in a (working) pair of headphones. His current attitude seems to be "Oh I have surround sound so if I'm playing a game it has to be as loud as possible", and yet whenever there's any other noise coming from somewhere else in the room (the other computer, for example), he gets all pissy and demands that it be turned down :\ He's currently playing some hunting game he got a couple days ago, and it's all I want to do to turn the 360 off, and not just because it's loud...

Oh well. He's just going to have to live with it :3
