Quite Satisfactory

Yes I know the title is also a line from Mary Poppins. So help me~

Just tonight though. Elischa was the other closer. She was scheduled to start at 9. At 9:30, she still hadn't shown up. Aside from Josh coming in from 11 - 12, it was me and Mark. We were out of there about quarter after 3 though, so it wasn't too bad, but just frustrating.

Good for something else though.

Got my pay stub, and found out I brought in an amazing $522.67. Technically though, that means I should be giving Mom and Dad $50 for gas, but meh. They've been getting $40 every two weeks for the longest time now, and they seem quite happy with that, so I'm not going to bother.

However, even after I give them their $155, I'll still be left with $367.67 :o I'm seriously thinking of going to the bank tomorrow and getting a money order for the whole $300 (plus whatever the shipping is). That has the advantage of not only sending it all at once, so whenever it's finished, it can be shipped off (almost) immediately, but also because that way, it'd hopefully get here either by the end of this month (unlikely) or somewhere near the start of next, which is when Dad'll be gone. To Indonesia, for some church thing :x

Then again, he's the one that's seen the most of the ones I have right now (mostly just when they're on my chair), and hasn't said a word, so yeah.

Moving on though, Manoah also called tonight, to say he couldn't come in to help, because he already had plans, but while he was on the phone, I asked him if he got my email yet. Answer was "Yes". Finally. This mess has been going on for way too long now.

Time to try installing something that finished downloading while I was at work~

That's Quite a Touch :s

So as I expected, shipping for the giant tail would be a bit more. "A touch", in her words. The amount? $20. I still have enough for it, but it'll leave me with a paltry $27.67. And what's even better, I actually found my account and bank transit number on my pay stub, and put those into my Paypal account, but now I apparently have to find out the amount of two small deposits they made. Excellent. But I suppose that's one of the things I could check when I go to the bank tomorrow.

Meh. It's not very fun so far. Downloaded Phantasy Star Universe over the past couple days, and just now installed it, and played it for about half an hour. Nothing of note so far, except it's really nice not being given a rundown of the controls, and essentially having to find out what to press to move and attack and whatnot :s But also, while extracting the ISO, I got a little message saying that there was extremely little disk space left, so I tried emptying the Recycle Bin, and got this little dialog. Barring the fact that "D:" looks like an upset face, I have to wonder what happens if you don't successfully resolve the low disk space condition (too many words). It could also be described as an undocumented feature in Vista. Free enough space on your hard drive, and get applauded for your efforts :3

Now the only problem with it is that I either have to find a crack for it (or use something like this). Either that, or keep the 5.2GB ISO file so I can actually play the game :p

I think it's time to go make some toast right now though.

Better Idea

Skip giving Dad money for the internet this week. Simply because although I could most likely go the next couple weeks without spending over $27, I'd rather not have it come to that. And one other rather disgusting thing...

I think it's about time for bed though. I'm hoping to go grocery shopping today, so I can run by the bank and to Shoppers as well, but should Adam decide to go instead, I'd still like to be up early enough to at least go to the bank myself :\

Very Very Bad Oversight

Adam wanted to go to Zellers to get a new action replay (apparently he has an absolute need for infinite oil in Twilight Princess), so instead of going with them, I stayed at home, and got to messing with Wiisic a bit more. Not before deleting the favorite I had made for this page here, but before doing so, accidentally opening it. Then when Adam got home, I told him "Have fun trying to get back out of this", meaning Wiisic, and instead of just pressing the "Home" button, he hit "Back". Guess which page loaded up? :\

So when I got home, he told me "Interesting web logs you have there", to which I asked "What?", and he responded with "Your journals...". I don't know if he saw the URL, but otherwise, at very least, he'd have read something about the giant tail, and that I could really care less about - he'd find out sooner or later anyways. I don't think he could've possibly had time to read far enough back to find out the (really) important (and more or less private) stuff, and I can't picture him being too terribly perceptive about the color scheme, so whatever.

But otherwise, got up at 3:30, went to the bank, came back home, stuffed the money order and note into an envelope, addressed it and everything, waited a bit while they went to Zellers, then when they got back home, went to Shoppers to mail it, then it was on to Real Canadian Superstore from there. What a full day~ Don't have to work 'till 9 (thank God), but it's also only me, Mark, and Steve closing, but I suppose that could end up being rather fun, depending on what sort of mood Steve's in.

For now, it's time to play some more N or Phantasy Star Universe :3
