Funny Things

Josh has a friend whose name is Rob, that I never would've pictured as being into the whole RP thing, but apparently he is. See here. Dear God, that site... it's just hilarious :3 I recognize at least a couple pictures on the page titled "Tashira" as being Samus without her suit, and I'm sure there's plenty more images throughout the rest of it that are taken from other places.

And what's more, his email address is "Internet_kings@hotmail.com". No big secret, seeing as it's right on the front page of his site, but yeah. Google for "internet_kings" without the quotation marks, and you get four results. Just be sure to disable Java first (at least in Firefox) if you plan on clicking the one with "Melissana" in the title.

Interesting stuff in the last two results. Guestbook entries that were made back in 1999, for the sole purpose of advertising his oldest (?) RP, with the name "Blue_Dragon". Strangely enough, going here only shows results for 2001 and 2002, and only 2001's actually load something.

Anyways, it's quarter to 6 in the morning right now, and I'm sitting here watching some "RV" DVD that I found upstairs. Dad's supposed to be getting home around noon today, and Mom seems to have it in her head that he'll be taking us out for supper :x The possibility is there, yes, but if I were him, I'd be more concerned with coming home and getting a good sleep in my own bed.

There is one more amusing thing to write about for now though. Net Authority. I really hope that site's a joke. If it's not, then wow. How stupidly blind can one group of people be? I'm sure the "Why" behind that statement is pretty much obvious, but that'll have to wait 'till later today :p

Getting my Hopes Up

Stayed up 'till about 10 after 8 this morning, for the sole purpose of thinking the tail I bought from Obliviousally might have arrived. Nothing yet, but hopefully next week sometime, provided it did indeed get shipped out before she left for Anthrocon. Sent her an email on Wednesday or so saying something like "So sometime this week then? Just a guess" in response to her saying she'd have it shipped out as soon as possible. Not at all envious of people that went to the con(vention), mainly for how stressful it'd be, and too many negative aftereffects (believe it or not), so whatever. Honestly, it sounds like it'd be really fun to go to and everything, but just... not right now. Too many other things that wouldn't allow it. It's just frustrating in this case, for the reason I've listed before - getting in the way of things that I'm expecting. Selfish, yes, but blah.

Anyways, Dad's back, as I found out earlier this morning. He walked into my room, and (half asleep) I heard him say "Whoa" presumably to the new fan I have up there now, and / or the addition of a third tail to my chair that he didn't see before he left :p Of course, I'd have to assume it was to the fan, because that's the first thing he'd have seen upon walking into my room, but that's just getting way too technical :x Apparently we're going to Smittys or something for supper tonight, so yay.

Don't know what else I'm going to do tonight, aside from possibly playing more Okami. Started a new game on it last night, but quickly got bored, so hopefully playing it for a little bit at a time will get me to somewhere that I actually *want* to play it.

Might go to 7-11 and actually pay attention to what I pick out this time, seeing as I stopped by there to get pop last night, and grabbed some pepperoni sticks as well. I could've sworn the box said "Hot", but I got home, took them back out of the bag, and the package listed them as "Honey Garlic". Pssssh. Wouldn't've had to go there at all, had Earl not been working when I stopped by for supper. He recently wrote something on the back board about how pop is a "privilage", and how we're only allowed to have it for free while we're "woring". Is everyone there illiterate? Good God. Maybe it's some sort of sign that I'm not supposed to be working at Taco Bell, but, meh, it'll do for now. Besides, it's fun telling people "You made a mistake here" and watching them struggle to figure out what it is~ Have to work tomorrow night, from 9 - close, I think, but I might as well call them later on some time to make sure. I know Earl will be pissed that I didn't bother checking my schedule before, but that's too bad in this situation.

And something tells me Josh was here earlier. What looks like his glasses are sitting on the computer table in front of me. Why am I not surprised...?
