So It's 9 in the Morning...

No sign of any box yet, and Dad is out in the front yard doing something or other involving unplugging a drain, so if it were to come, I'd like to think he'd at least come in to tell me. Still going to phone EB Games to see if they have something I want to get, but otherwise, probably just go to bed after that. Assuming EB Games does have what I want though, I'll probably just remind him "If a box comes for me this week and I'm asleep wake me up" on the way back. Just in case.

My back still hurts like you wouldn't believe, thanks to an incident that occurred earlier today involving me wanting to sit in the chair Adam was in, which led to him jumping on me in the doorway to the living room, and seemingly attempting to put his finger right into my eye socket, and yeah :\ My fault entirely, but there's nothing that can be done about it now. Oh, and there's also a new chair in this room here now, which saves me having to think about spending money on one. Yay. From what I know, Dad just had it down in the basement or something, but it works fine up here, so whatever :p

No work tonight either, but I dunno. Unless I can find something that really grabs my attention and that I can spend up to an hour at a time with, I'll probably just go to bed whenever I get tired. Could work on my pictures for Picross DS, but I'd like to get the levels 2 through 7 finished before I go on to any new puzzles, and after even so much as 1 or 2, that gets terribly boring.

And this song is actually good too. Downloaded part of it a long time ago when we had our first computer, thinking it was hilarious because "Blowin' in the wind" could be talking about farting and such, but Michelle had it on in her van on the way home on Sunday, and I liked it, and yeah. On the topic of songs as well, people must really like this one :o 93 downloads?

But it's quarter to though, so I'm going to find something else to do with my time for another 15 minutes. Let's hope it goes by quickly...

Oh Sure...

Woke up briefly at 5, and after convincing myself that it was actually 5 in the morning instead of afternoon, went back to sleep, and woke up again at quarter to in a sort-of panic, because I knew Adam planned on going out to EB Games when he got off work, at 5:30. They didn't have in what I wanted earlier this morning, but true to what the lady there said, it did arrive later on because Nintendo ships their stuff differently than the rest of the companies that deal with EB do. So yeah. Might just ask to run out for supper later or something and go there while we're at it, because having Adam go to EB Games, then going there myself as soon as they get back doesn't make sense.

What would make more sense is to just wait 'till Thursday, and run over there while we're out getting groceries, but I can't exactly picture that happening :s

Dad apparently got an email back from a lady that has something to do with that radio broadcaster class (as I understand it), saying that Audacity worked great, and that the next thing he needs is a list of steps in order to make it more "user friendly". How exactly can you make it more user friendly? You just click the big 'ol "Record" button, talk into the microphone for a while, click the "Stop" button, and from there, either click play to listen to yourself again, or click "File", "Export as MP3", name the file, and send it off to wherever it needs to be. Simple, but then again, he's the same one who couldn't figure out how to log into his email yesterday because he was using a different login page. Heh...

So he left a note on the computer here to say that, and there's also a PS at the bottom: "Will see you later tonight hopefully?"

Probably because Earl left a message on the answering machine wanting me to come in tonight. No. It is nice to see he's more saying "We need you to do this" instead of "Could you do this", but I'm still saying no. I know Manoah's the reason they're looking for someone to work, because he called me last night wanting to know if I'd take his shift, and since I told him "No" then, it'd be really strange if I were to say "Yes" to them now.

And obviously no sign of my tails either, but the first one I ordered from here arrived on a Wednesday, and tomorrow is, so maybe then. That aside though, might as well do up those instructions for Dad so they'll be done by the time he gets home.

What I Got at EB

Picture.

It really is overkill to have another one, and, well, can't really give any explanation for wanting it aside from the color scheme, but meh. Haven't touched Brain Age 2 yet, but the Megaman game has been decent so far, so yeah. Really like the idea of instead of having a separate real world and "internet world", the two exist in the same space, save for being able to EM transmit into devices or whatever it's called. The (pseudo) 3D battles are interesting as well, but more or less a pain at this point, because it's kind of hard to tell just how many squares an enemy is away from you when you can't see how many there are on your side. It was 9 in the other games, but given that you can only move to the left and right, it could just be 3...

But also... this page. Row 1, column 3. Download the wallpaper, view it at full size (as long as it's as big or bigger than your current resolution), and tell me it's not... hypnotic. Was taking a look at the preview on customize.org, and I could swear the black bits between the colored bars were getting darker and lighter, as in an animated GIF or something.

Funny thing also on the way home from EB Games earlier. Passing by Taco Bell, I saw Steve walking in, in full uniform and such, when last I knew he was supposed to have the night off. God, it's such a terrible but funny feeling at the same time. On one hand, it made me feel bad because I knew that by not phoning them back, I was screwing Steve over for his night off, but on the other hand, it was funny because it was the first time I saw such a thing, and the initial thought of "I know why he's going there" was amusing.

Heading to 7-11 (again) though, then after that, have dishes to do, then probably just more game playing. Don't know about staying up 'till 8 or 9 again, seeing as I've been tired for most of the evening and night now, but we'll have to see...
