I Can't Figure Out Where to Start, So...

[1] As planned, I went to Sobeys earlier, with tail, obviously. Nothing was said on the way there (at least directly to me), but on the way back, I got asked where the party tonight was by some guy walking his dog, honked at by a couple girls in a white van who said "Nice tail" or something along those lines, and got sort of a weird look and a smile from two guys who had skateboarded past me on the underpass as I walked past them again further down the sidewalk. What can I say? I walk fast~ Bought some more candy though, which I plan on bringing one container of to work tomorrow (I have a choice of peach rings, "strawberry puffs" and sour cherries), as well as a bag of corn twists, Bugles, and chocolate-covered almonds. So I do believe the next time I'll be getting anything special like that won't be 'till the middle of next week, if not when I'm in London. Speaking of which, point 2.

[2] I dearly hope this changes by the 13th. I still plan on bringing money for the bus, but it's going to suck if it's as warm as it was before. That reminds of something directed to Cola though: from what I found online, the bus fare is $2.50. Would you be able to say for certain if that's right or not? Madius might know too, because he's the one that gave me that ticket / pass last time I was up, but, well, he's not on my friends list, and I don't want to bother him for something like that :p

[3] As of tonight, I've beaten career mode on Expert in Guitar Hero: On Tour. Now I'm trying to beat all the songs in the Guitar Battle mode because I listened to "I Am Not Your Gameboy" already, and it sounds like it'd be a fun song to play. This will have to do for the soundtrack as well for now. I uploaded the individual songs earlier this afternoon, and within a couple hours the playlist had been downloaded three times, but I figure it'd be a pain to have to download all the songs individually if you want the whole thing, hence the split zip file. I'll definitely be downloading the European version once it's released though, if not entirely for the five songs specific to it. That is, assuming it'll work on my R4DS, but I can't think of any reason it wouldn't.

[4] That picture. If I could go back to when Manoah wanted to take it again, I wouldn't have held it up in front of my face like that, but that's the closest anyone will get to seeing what I look like without visiting a certain other site. Or actually meeting up, but that's only happened with Cola and Noir so far, so meh. And if I may say, *I* think I look positively silly like that, but looking at pictures of myself is a weird thing in the first place :s

[5] Adam gave me his half of the money for the computer today, which I'll be going to the bank tomorrow before work to deposit. For some reason he gave me $270 at first, but I gave the extra fifty back, and the rest is up in my room in one of the containers on my dresser. That should bring me back up to ~$7,275, and Mom said she won't need the $75 for groceries until the end of the month, which will help. For the time being, I'd like to have $8,000 in my account by the end of August, but I'm really aiming for 10k by the time November, and thus MFF rolls around, so we'll see how that works out.

I'm starting to get a headache though, so I think I'll be heading to bed shortly, but before that, more Guitar Hero III. That downloadable song for the 4th of July ("Top Gun Anthem") is <3 The song itself is cool, and the solo is actually fun to play ^^ Oh, and then I'm looking forward to seeing if Manoah says anything about the email I sent him at work tomorrow, but that's over half a day away, so perhaps I should just worry about posting this for now~

It's Still a Little Early, No?

Josh just called from work, to say something along the lines of them being "really boned for supper", and to ask if I could come in for six instead of 8. Said that I would for 7, in the sort of tone that indicated that 6 was way too early, and it is. I woke up an hour ago, and for reference, it's 3:30 right now. If I were to agree to come in for six, I'd have to leave for work in an hour and a half, and although I'm sure working a nine-hour shift would give me the ability to say "I'm going out to sit down" later on in the night without a fuss, that's still way too early to be starting work. I have to wonder why they called me as well though. He had to ask somebody else if 7 was alright with them, who I presume was Earl, and if it was, chances are he sent some of the would-be supper staff home because it wasn't busy, and only after that realized in might start picking up.

But I can always ask what's going on when I get there. I probably should've while Josh was on the phone, but he sort of sounded to be in a rush in the first place.

As for other things that have happened since earlier this morning, I was somehow able to sleep from ~6:30 to 2:30 without waking up at all, but it feels like it's starting to get warmer out again too, so although I hope it's not, that'll probably be the only time 'till Fall arrives ;_;

Played some more Starforce 2 before going to bed though, mainly just the stuff in the museum. The text that comes up when you inspect the dinosaurs in the corner caught my eye though:

This ancient tribe
of giants is called
the Saurian.

There are various
theories about how they
died out,but of those,
the meteorite collision
theory is the most
widely accepted.

This display is a re-
creation of a
magnificent battle
between a
Chomprealhardosaur and
a Neckistoolongadon.

Yeah :s Would it have been that difficult to even *try* to make up realistic sounding names? I think the Zerker / Ninja part is soon going to be explained though, and although it's just a hunch, I'd have to say the final battle of the game will take place on "Mu". Why? Because the foreshadowing is just *so* obvious. I'd actually play it for a bit right now, but for some reason, I have to will to unless I'm upstairs in bed.

Oh well. I started a new game on Banjo-Kazooie yesterday night, so maybe I can have Treasure Trove Cove finished before I have to leave for work~
