I Must Change my Wording

For as much as I dislike closing with Steve, Earl is far worse, because literally whenever it starts to get busy, everybody has to either be on line, in drive through, or at front cash if the dining room is still open. Oh, and spraying the floors with the hose did mostly work last night too, which only reinforced his opinion that we were lying about the end repeatedly popping off, but still, it is my belief that the floors get just as clean from dumping water on and scrubbing them. Not to say that we should still not be using the hose whatsoever, but to my mind, that should be done once a week, and the rest of the time they can be scrubbed as they used to be getting done. The other thing is still amusing in a bad way though, because I was on line by myself for most of the night, which saw me make, among other orders, seven hard and seven soft tacos, then separately, a family pack, four double decker tacos, and a fry supreme. All the while with Marissa down in drive through and Earl and George concerning themselves with the schedule or something. Even better yet was when Earl checked the sales at the end of the night and pointed out how they'd done $300 while I was just standing at front cash waiting for my shift to start, but no. If you're going to whine about anything, make sure it's fair to all parties involved.

Since I mentioned George though, a couple random things concerning him. Earl, in attempt to make conversation or something, asked if I was going anywhere in the summer or was going to use my vacation pay for anything. I told them my plans were to go to the states in August, then George piped in with the couple things he's overheard up to this point, and that's just annoying. Yes, my "vacation" is just going to hang out with / visit a friend that I met in the states back in November, but I fail to see what need any of you ("you" being my coworkers) could need to know that for. There's a pretty good chance in this case that nothing more will be said though (at least by them), so I'll leave it at that for now. The other thing came about when I was changing into my regular clothes at the end of the night. I hadn't yet put my shirt on, but still opened the door a bit so he could get bags for the garbage pails, then turned around to grab the bag for my clothes as he did that. Then I heard him say to Marissa (presumably) "You see the tattoo...? Nasty". Frankly, I don't care *that* much, because I'm not so far gone as to be seeking everybody's approval, but it just goes to show that almost all the staff there are two-faced, but some evidently hide it better than others.

On a different note, I won't have a chance to see Manoah until Wednesday, but he hasn't yet responded to that email or sent any messages in MSN, so maybe he actually doesn't have any other questions to ask or comments to make. James, however, does work tonight until 11, and sent me an email yesterday asking how to install XP over Vista on his laptop, and has yet to respond back, so I'll just ask him tonight and see what he says.

In the meantime, I'm going to play Pokemon Platinum for a bit, because I was last night when I got home but it froze, then I switched to Meteos and it froze right as the credits started to roll too, so maybe I'll have a bit more luck with the DS in general today~
