I Really Tried This Time

Woke up at ~1:30, mostly against my will because there was a crew outside cutting the tree in the front yard down, and I would have almost drifted back to sleep just as they either fired up the chainsaw again or a piece of said tree fell on the ground, making this really deep thud that I could feel as well as hear. Thankfully they stopped the latter after a certain time (long enough for me to go downstairs, get a bowl of cereal, and fetch Tabby from the front door because if had been opened she likely would've run out), and I stuffed a couple pillows in my window to drown out most of the chainsaw's noise, and fell back asleep until 4. Now it's 4:30, and there's an awful lot of loud stomping around downstairs, but I'll find out what it is in half an hour when I head down to the basement to put my laundry in the dryer.

As for the title, I've been thinking that with September quickly approaching, going to Heart and Stroke will be coming back quite soon too, and therefore I should try to adjust my sleeping schedule some, but thus far I haven't been able to. It might be worth trying to not stay up until 7am because that's what happened this morning as well, but it seems like such a waste and that I'm going to bed early to lay down when it's still dark out. In the same way, going to Wendys yesterday never panned out, because by the time I would've gone it was already dark, and I'm still stuck in this way of thinking that by the time it's dark out those places will have closed, and haven't gotten used to that. To be fair though, a large part of my afternoon yesterday (close to five hours) was spent grinding through random battles in Starforce Pegasus to get the last few Standard cards I needed. I will get out there eventually, but at this rate, not until the next time I have at least three days off, which probably won't be for a while.

Other than that, I'm not sure what else to say right now. A very large, flat envelope came for me today, which is undoubtedly my laptop skin, but I'm going to wait until I get home from work to open it so I have something to look forward to. As for the updated pictures of that little sculpture, they can be seen here, which reminds me that I still haven't found anybody to commission the couple more userpics I want to get from, but oh well. I still need to be paid before I can even think of buying more stuff like that, and otherwise, I'll just have to keep an eye on Furbid and see what shows up.

Anyways, more will come later, but for now I want to find a new wallpaper and visual style combination to use, then I also need to grab my laundry from the dryer, and after work tonight I might actually walk a longer way home again, but as with most other things, we'll see~
