The reason for all this? I changed the security on the wireless connection from WEP to WPA-PSK yesterday. Naomi literally took her laptop to Staples to get fixed because of it (what are they going to do?), and then I stomp downstairs a couple minutes ago to find Dad at his, phone in hand with some lady that was trying to help him fix the problem. The first thing he said to me when I told him "Move. I'll fix it", was "Here, you talk to her." Absolutely no need, and I hope she heard me / knew what I meant when I told him to tell her I'd changed the security on the wireless connection. His way of saying it was that I had "switched some numbers around" :x
Once it was working again, I explained that I was planning on switching his next time I saw him, then came back up here without so much as another word.
Dear Dad: the modem is rarely (if ever) at fault for the problems with the wireless internet. I used to reset it from time to time whenever Adam was getting really annoying, but now that's just saved for rare occasions. Any other time, I usually have something to do with the problem, or I know what to do to fix it. I just don't appreciate being woken up while I'm sleeping to fix it. I realize that if I weren't messing around with the settings in the first place, there wouldn't be a problem at all, but that's about it. Fine. I shouldn't, and if I do, I should let them know "If you have problems, come to me first", but usually they do anyways :s
I'm trying to go back to bed though. Mom and I have somewhere to go later this afternoon, so I'd like to sleep a bit more before that.
