Not a Bad Close After All

I half expected to be on drive through tonight, but Cindy ended up taking it. We weren't busy either, and had our last customer of the night not had four orders (a number seven, another number seven, ten soft tacos, then six soft tacos), we might've been out of there at ten after. Meh. It wasn't busy at all after ~11 either, which was nice, because there were only three bags and two pans of nachos left in the back cabinet, so we had to fry some more. Then I also brought all the fries from the back up to the walk-in, so I wouldn't have to do it tomorrow, and rotated a few things in there as well (three cheese, nachos, and torts). Tomorrow is going to be slightly different though, because Eric's closing. Knowing my luck, George (he's closing as well) will ask me more furry-related questions, which Eric will hear, but at this point, I really don't care. While I'm on the topic though, everyone must think they're so incredibly smart. There have been at least five times I've been on the way to or home from work or whatever, and somebody driving along beside me will yell "You've got a [insert optional expletive here] tail!" Yes, I have, and frankly, I don't see what you're hoping to have happen by telling me. It's not as if it just magically appeared there as I was walking along or something :s

And because it was still fairly cool out, I took a long way home. I must've been walking pretty fast too, because if Google Maps is right, I did 5.2km in 40 minutes, where it'd usually take me closer to an hour. Works for me, at any rate :3

Was going to have french toast at home, but I figure I'll wait, because tomorrow is the last day I work 'till Sunday, and as such will be something else to look forward too ^^ As for grocery shopping today, I don't think I'm going to go after all. One hour out of every 336 (I think) is still... "insignificant" enough, but I'm not about to start making exceptions to wearing a tail just because somebody else has a problem with it. I'm sure Mom has her reasons (although I still don't fully understand them, which could be part of the problem), but I have my reasons for wanting to do it regardless of what's being said about me as well.

Oh, and one other amusing thing. When I left for work, there was a pile of dishes in the kitchen that needed to be washed. Adam's night to do dishes, is Wednesday, thus, they were his. When I got home from work, well, let's just say I wouldn't have believed he even moved from in front of the computer if I hadn't asked him an he replied with "Yes". All the dishes are still there, so he's really going to have fun tomorrow.

But anyways, Dad's probably going to be up soon (it's only 5:30, but he's been getting up early lately), and I'd like to be upstairs before he gets out of bed, so I'm going to post this, then head up there~
