It Can't Hurt to Say This

The timing here is absolutely exquisite. I ordered a new power adapter for my laptop yesterday afternoon, but elected to pay for it with an eCheck. That was right after going to Staples to return the one I bought from there, because ~$130 is an awful lot to pay for something like that. My plans right now are to go back to Staples this afternoon and see about buying one again. Why? The power adapter I have right now started beeping again, and no matter what I tried, it would not stop.

The eCheck for that one I bought online is supposed to be clearing on the 28th, but there's still another week or so involved in it getting here after that. The best part about it is I'm only getting the boxy part of the adapter. Not the part you'd plug into an outlet or power bar. I have the other part though, and there's nothing wrong (at least that I can tell) from it.

I could care less about not being able to charge the battery and use my laptop at the same time (I've already figured out a workaround for that problem as is), but I am not going to put up with Adam telling me he wants to use this computer all afternoon.

So, long story short, for whoever's reading this that knows what I'm talking about, if I'm not online for the next couple days, it's because I wasn't able to get a new power adapter. Not that other stuff. And also, my new plans are to have at least $7,000 in my bank account by this time next month. A thousand more than that would be nice too, but I'm not sure how that's going to work out at this point.

My fingers are crossed (not literally, because then it'd be hard to type), so here's hoping I can still find one of them tomorrow...
