Apparently I Fail at Doritos <3

Also, this is different. Currently sitting downstairs on the stool in the kitchen, having just put brownies into the fridge so they can cool a bit in order to make them easier to remove from the wax paper they're on, and I could also probably go down to the basement and grab my clothes from the dryer, but that would involve going all the way back upstairs, and I don't want to when there's something here in the kitchen that still requires my attention.

Anyways, the title. I went out to 7-11 earlier (which seems to be the recurring trend for my days off now), and picked up a small bag of Doritos that the bag advertised as being "Chili Lime" flavor or something. They were the first thing I ate upon getting home too, but quite frankly, they didn't taste any different than the original Doritos they had before all these different flavors started coming out did. Then I got to the bottom of the bag and found something wrapped in plastic. The first possibility that came to mind was a coupon for if you were to buy the chips again, but no. Doritos are now turning into Mr. Noodles (or any varieties thereof), wherein you're given a flavor / seasoning packet, and expected to sprinkle it over the chips (or noodles). So long story short, I now have an empty Dorito bag and a seasoning packet that I do not know what to do with ;_; Although that's somewhat fitting because I was going to take a little package of steak glaze home from work last night too (for it expires on the 26th of this month), but left it in the bathroom. Yesh.

Also today, I reinstalled XP on this laptop, and aside from not having nearly as many tabs open in Firefox, pretty much everything is back the way it used to be. Reasons for such were mainly that it was getting to the point where I could not even connect to the internet anymore, and generally Windows just feeling slow and bogged down compared to what it was originally / is like now. As for the other laptop, I'm not in such a rush for it, because as I've already said probably more than once in here, I just use it to listen to music and watch TV shows and movies these days, and aside from having to restart Windows Media Player from time to time (or, even rarer, having to reboot so Windows can install updates), it works fine.

As for other things, I'm surprised for one that I'm still awake at almost 4:30 in the morning now without feeling tired whatsoever, because I didn't get to bed until ~7:30 this morning, and woke up at 2 feeling quite well rested, but still as if I could sleep the rest of the day away if I gave myself the chance to. Possibly (well, more than likely) due entirely to my walk home last night, which took me out to Michener again, and was generally quite fun because I was listening to the "new" music I linked to in my previous entry ^^ It's sort of funny if you take the time to think about it, but in between listening to new (or at least non-familiar) music on my PSP and recording all or parts of my walk with my camera, everything seems to go by so much quicker. I don't so much as think of how far I've walked, how far I have left to go, or how fast I'm moving, and am somewhat bemused to, in the case of last night, come home and see that it's almost 5 in the morning when I left Taco Bell at 3:30. Also, I didn't notice it for listening to music, but for at least the latter half of my walk, there were birds chirping. At all of 4 or 5 in the morning. Quite surreal.

At this time, however, I'm going to head back upstairs because those brownies aren't cooling off as quickly as I thought they would. Work tomorrow at 8, but I'm more worried about next Sunday, because it's the last day / night we'll have the Cheesy Double Beef Burrito on. Then comes the Volcano Menu, and that is, quite predictably, going to be fun~
