This is a Recurring Trend...

I get a day off and have no will to write in here despite not having much else to do, yet choose any night where I have to work, and there's a 50% chance I'll actually be rushing to finish everything up before 7 or 8. I suppose it works though because this is my second of three single days off I've been given, so I get to work from tomorrow to Sunday, then Tuesday to Thursday after that, followed by Friday and Saturday off. If it hadn't been so overcast for the entire afternoon and I didn't have $120 of my pay going towards Father's Day, I might have walked out to The Bargain Shop again, but in the end I settled for going to Sobeys at 3am this morning, then out to Arbys for supper sixteen hours later.

Work is also going really amusingly right now (or at least was up until today), because for at least a week's worth of shifts in a row, I've been online. Even the past three nights closing with Manoah, and he usually ends up putting himself on it so he doesn't have to worry about doing the dishes along with all his paperwork and whatnot. Not that I mind, by any means, because without the past couple nights I would not have been able to work out that new way of dealing with hot line, and figuring out ways to postpone things like that is going to help for when Melissa closes with us, or just happens to stop in and see how everything is going. Also kind of funny is how before Earl quit, everybody was always complaining about him, for some reason or another. In fairness that focus has now shifted to Sheila, but I've heard Manoah and at least a couple other employees say that they miss Earl. I think Sheila deserves the negative attention she's getting now to a certain degree though, because among other stories repeated recently, she mixed expired sour cream with a new bag so as to not have to waste food. Fun.

In non-work related news, I had a dream last night wherein one of the many movies I've recorded while walking home had been uploaded to Youtube (I would hope by me) and had become the most-viewed movie that day to the extent that, well, at least it felt like everybody in the world with a computer and access to the internet had seen it. I'm not sure if it means anything, of course, but dreams are often weird like that. I've also been working on typing the lyrics to the songs from those two albums I bought (see here), and I'm going to continue working on that for now because I don't really have anything else to say in here.

Just something with the lack of having anything to do getting a day off from work has, I guess~
