Fussiness is my Bane

I recently found (again) the Foxkeh theme for Firefox. Unlike most other themes I've downloaded because they looked good, that one actually cooperates with Vertigo, so I've been using it for the past couple days. However, the drop-down arrow beside the address bar sort of stuck out, so I looked around a bit and eventually found a way to remove it, but the problem that came up after that was there being no border on the right hand side of the address bar. Because with the way I have the toolbar set up StumbleUpon's (now invisible) resize gripper thing is right next to it, I tried adding the border to the far left of that image, in hopes that it would line up with the address bar. Almost, but not quite, because even after much changing the width property of the image, and the actual width of the image itself, there was still a little bit of space between the two.

Then I got the bright idea to try editing the userChrome.css file to make Firefox display the border image instead of the drop down arrow, then everything went horribly wrong, and suffice it to say I reinstalled and completely reconfigured all my extensions four times before it stopped giving me problems. As such, a word to the wise: never, ever mess with the "sessions" folder (assuming you have Session Manager installed), and if you're going to make any changes to the browser's UI as opposed to the extensions, have a backup, or be prepared to reinstall if and when things go wrong.

Things are thankfully stable right now though, so I feel it prudent to link to this new desktop screenshot, and otherwise say that I'm quite ready to go to bed since it's almost 8:30am, but I'm really not tired either. Probably because of the humidity though, but there are thunderstorms forecast for the whole day today, so even though it may look like a nice day out thus far, I could very well wake up to it pouring rain <3 That's unfortunately rather uncertain, but there's a better chance of seeing my laptop skin come in the mail, and possibly other things as well. I would actually like to just stay awake until 11 right now to see, but the only way I could go through with that is if I was planning to stay awake until about 6am tomorrow, and there's no way I can do that.

As I started writing this I also received an email saying my commission of that little sculpture is done and there are pictures attached that I could look at right now, but if the past has been any indication, I won't do so until later anyways, and I'm rambling plenty enough as is, so I should put my head down on the pillow and try to fall asleep now~
