Of Course This Would Happen

It's 10am, and in the end we're just going to be waiting for Naomi to finish delivering her papers before we can leave, but guess what she hasn't so much as started yet? That's right. I have almost everything packed though (not my laptop, obviously), and already visited the bank earlier as well, so that's all taken care of. Although once again this happens. I go from sleeping straight through until at least 1 in the afternoon, to being able to wake up on my own exactly one minute before my alarm clock goes off. In fairness I would rather hear that than the shrill beeping it makes, but it's just sort of odd how these things work out.

Otherwise, not much to note yet, but it's only the beginning of the day, so one can't expect much more. Still no word on breakfast, but Dad was gone out to one at some men's group he goes to when I woke up, so I have a feeling he's expecting us to fend for ourselves, and not go to McDonalds as we usually would. Until I find out for sure though, I have eaten some Triscuits. Awesome <3 I do, however, also have a single can of Amp (the same sort of energy drinks we had at work a month ago) to take along for the ride, and that will almost definitely help keep me awake after a certain point. Where I acquired it from is still a secret, but there's one more day to go, so perhaps tomorrow I'll have to divulge my (now useless) source.

I probably will end up getting tired later too, because I did not at all have a good sleep last night (at least insofar that I'd wake up briefly then close my eyes to go back to sleep, but there'd be this feeling of "What are you doing? Normally you're still awake right now!" Such is what I get for going to sleep anticipating things though, because it started with a box of Lucky Charms that we would be allowed to have for cereal the next morning (oh yes), and has continued through to this day.

Anyways, I suppose I might head downstairs to see how Naomi's doing, then also find a place to put those two books yesterday, because I want to come home to a clean room, which is inhibited even by having two books on the top bunk instead of in more fitting place. Such a place might be a bookshelf, as mentioned previously though, so as soon as I have some money to spend above and beyond $2,000, I'm going to head out to Staples to look. Just something small, because my games can remain where they are right now, but I don't want to just leave my guides in the dresser drawer. A bit fussy, perhaps, but the thought is nice, so hopefully they won't be overly expensive.

So until either tomorrow night or early Monday morning, that is it. Unless, of course, there is un-(or poorly) secured wireless internet near their place, but I'm not counting on that. Still, the whole idea of going there is to visit extended family, which is exactly what I plan on doing, and all I really plan on having this for is so I can listen to music as I fall asleep (a little bit of familiarity helps immensely), so that should all work out well enough~
