Just Over a Week Now

If and when the DVD is shipped out, I think I'll finally have reason to give either neutral, or positive but with low detailed ratings feedback on eBay. The movie I bought for Mom on Thursday last week? They sent me another email yesterday to say they were still working to fulfill the order, which quite clearly means that it hasn't even gone out yet. Therefore, I have to ask why you would even bother to list the item, if you don't have it immediately available. Sure, I have plenty of time to wait because it's only October 2nd, but that's beside the point right now. I might even consider asking for a refund and buying the movie from some other seller, but it's too late for that now as well, because I've already received feedback from them, and I don't think it can be removed.

Although I should take a minute to mention that I'm a bit biased, not being in that great a mood today anyways, but reasons for that will go unsaid, lest the situation not turn itself around so this only serves as a reminder of it. On the better side of things (well, somewhat), I was woken up at about 11:00 yesterday morning by somebody pounding on my door, who turned out to be Naomi saying there was a package for me downstairs that I needed to sign for. And pay $6.95 which I feel sort of guilty about, because I gave the guy $7, then he ran down the driveway to his vehicle and came back with $1.05 as my change. At first I was just going to keep it, because if he didn't notice, no harm would be done, but then in the short time it took me to walk into the kitchen, pour a bowl of cereal, and head back to the stairs, I decided I would try to catch him to give it back, but he was gone. Whatever though. It's a single dollar, which isn't going to make a whole lot of difference to anybody. As for the package itself, it was this book, which is quite awesome <3 Sure, as with those guides I received earlier this week, there's very little text in it that I can actually read, but it's still cool to just flip through, so I'm glad I bought it.

On another topic, it really feels like it should be Saturday right now, and is sort of disappointing that it's not. I close tonight and tomorrow, then have three days off, close on Wednesday after that, then have Thursday off, followed by closing Friday and Saturday again, followed by Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday off as with this week. Days off will definitely be nice, because I would really love nothing more than to know I don't have to work even just for tonight. Not that we're incredibly busy right now or anything, but as per usual, I started making plans for my days off almost as soon as I saw what they were, so the only thing standing between me and them is work. The past few nights have actually been going well in that respect though, insofar as they're not extremely busy, and everything gets done by a reasonable time. Except for last night when Steve kept trying to shove line off on me despite having been on it himself for most of the night before that, but I had no choice in the end, because he sent James home and took over drive through.

For now though, it's only quarter after 3 so I'm going to find something else to do for a bit. Actually, the first thing would be to put that book away, then also take my dishes downstairs, so I shall go do that~
