The first one I bought, and the one I posted a link to before had a description along the lines of "a dreamy one character commission of your character". Redundancy aside, the "dreamy" part is what stood out. Now skip ahead to when the auction ended and the artist sent out emails to the winners saying "Thanks for taking a look at my auction. This is how we're going to do things since there are multiple winners". The name they've given in their account settings (Hotmail) is "Make a Wish", but I originally saw that as the email subject, which seemed so much more awesome than I would've expected. I can't really explain why, but it's sort of like saying "Tell me what you'd most like to see and I will draw it for you". Once I realized that was just her name the magic sort of faded though, but it's not even remotely as big a deal as that makes it sound. I did of course try to describe what I wanted as thoroughly as possible, but that led to a lengthy paragraph on what changes I wanted there to be made in that commission as compared to the reference image I gave her alone. Being long-winded is also sort of amusing, but only when I don't end up going on about one specific thing for two or more sentences and end up forgetting what else I was going to mention. For now though, the sketch of one can be seen right here (and there's a ~75% chance you won't be able to view it, so bear that in mind), and I didn't upload the other, because it doesn't show a whole lot yet. Just the pose I had described and the words "floaty leaf" :B
Those two paragraphs will, unfortunately, be it for tonight though. It's already ten after 6, and I'm going to Heart and Stroke again tomorrow, so I need to get a fair amount of sleep, what with having to work 8-close as well. Although with the wind out there as it is now it should be decent, but I just hope it isn't raining when I head out. Having said that, it does make for pleasant relaxation laying down in bed and listening to it, so that's exactly what I'm going to do~
