This is a Complete Change

I can still remember the nights I'd lay here being bored, waiting for 6:00 to roll around so I could go to bed, because otherwise it would seem like a waste of a night off. Lately, however, I can sit here for almost hours on end wrapped up in random tasks and completely lose track of the time. First of all tonight, I finally got down to making userpics out of those two pictures. It was around 4 when I started them, and at one point in between decided to uninstall a game that would've been too much trouble to get working correctly, and from there got sidetracked to running CCleaner and whatnot, so by the next time I looked at the clock, it was already 5:30. Then I wasted the half hour between then and 6 doing something I can't remember (yay for having a terrible memory <3), and after that set about closing some tabs in Firefox, but came upon one of them that was open to a movie on Youtube. It's Dragonforce's "Through the Fire and Flames" done in Mario Paint Composer, and the detailed info struck me in just the right way that I decided to copy each and every note on my own. I've only made it to measure 34 thus far, so it's going to take a while, but that gives me something to do if and when I get really bored, so meh.

I actually can't think of much else to say about today though. Nothing whatsoever showed up in the mail for me, but there was an amusing piece of admail addressed to Dad on the counter when I first went downstairs. It was remarkably akin to that "joshmadecash" scam Manoah wanted me to sign him up for before, in that they're holding hour and a half seminars at Smittys and Oaks Inn on how to make money on the internet. The example sites they used were Google, Yahoo, eBay, and one other one I can't remember, but that doesn't change the end result in any way. There were even some incentives offered, being free tickets for him and a guest, a free meal, and a free "MP3 player" (the paper showed an iPod Shuffle, which will become relevant in a moment). Of course, reading the fine print would show that you had to stay for the entire seminar before getting your meal (and even then they probably wouldn't offer you very many choices), and you also had your choice afterwards of either accepting a generically-titled MP3 player, or receiving a mail-in voucher for a 1GB iPod Shuffle. And if that's the "gift" you have to send away and wait for (possibly not even receive in the end, I might add) then the plain MP3 player would likely be of the exceedingly cheap variety. Thankfully, it had been tossed in the recycling bin next time I went downstairs, but I pulled it out earlier to stick in the scanner. Perhaps tomorrow if I remember I have them, I'll upload said scans :3

Oh, and not quite related to that, but dishes were kind of fun. Aside from having lots of utensils to wash, the rest went smoothly, but despite that Mom came downstairs just as I'd started to dry and put them away, and said thanks for washing them, because there were "a lot". Not really, but it's nice having things that I do better than anyone else. Not that they're going to help me on their own or anything, but just to put more effort into something than Adam and / or Naomi ^^

As for Bowser's Inside Story, because I did play it a bit today, I'm still stuck in the Energy Hold, but right up to the boss now. I might be even further if I didn't get sidetracked with those other things, but I can't complain either. I might as well be getting to bed too before 7:00 rolls around (5 minutes right now), so hopefully things go well tomorrow, and by that I mean my whole 4, maybe 3 hour shift at work, and as long as things work out there, getting supper from somewhere to complete the night. We shall see~
