Michele responded this morning to say that she was ready for me to return this week, and at first I was really quite opposed to that, enough so that I was considering replying to say "Give me one more week to get my sleep schedule back in order", but that shouldn't pose a problem after all. The only real concern to my mind was how I'd be gone there for most of the afternoon, and therefore might not have been able to finish the mazes in Pic Pic this week like I'd hoped, but I've done two today already, and will be working on as many more as possible when I get home, so it may actually turn out that the final bunch will be done tomorrow. I'm at 383 right now, so there are 17 left to complete, and I might ask Steve for a ride home tonight just to have that little extra bit of time. Then as for those developments mentioned above, I can easily bring the check with me on Wednesday, and walk up to the bank before heading home.
As for more immediate things, work tonight may not end up going as well as I'm hoping, for one. I've been lucky enough to not be scheduled for such shifts up until now, but some weeks ago we (the closers) were informed that the delivery would start to arrive earlier, around midnight instead of the 2 or 3am that we were used to. It also used to be that we didn't see it on Monday nights at all, but that isn't the case anymore, and this will be the first shift I've worked since that started. Then in the same week I'm also closing on Thursday, which is the other night the order comes, but perhaps after this I'll go back to being on one or the other, or maybe even neither instead of both.
I might as well try to at least solve the next maze before 7:00 so I have a little bit of a head start upon getting home though. There is one other thing I was thinking about last night that I was going to put in here today, but that'll have to wait until I get home, or tomorrow afternoon. It involves more thoughts about going to London, and a possibility that hadn't crossed my mind before, but that's all I can say at the moment~
