Now I Know That Works

Among other less-interesting spam, I received two emails this morning. One from Money Mart about Teksavvy having taken their first month's payment, and the other from Teksavvy themselves, with an invoice for the order I made yesterday attached. For some reason they have my email address in all caps, but that aside, I am quite relieved. That just leaves me needing to put ~$42 on there sometime before the 28th each month which I can definitely manage, although I'm not entirely a fan of the $2 they seem to charge now when you put money on your card. Maybe it was always that way, but never for me before now, and I'm still being charged $15 a month, so don't appear to be on the pay-as-you-go plan. I didn't bother inquiring about that on Monday night, but I probably should next time I'm in there if the fee for May is still the same.

Now, continuing where I left off yesterday, I have beaten the Snow Temple now, and I was really quite fun the third time around, because I knew exactly what to do and was able to rush right through it <3 The boss wasn't so much a bother that time either, because I actually looked up at the top screen and noticed it showed each entity's element, but the Tower of Spirits isn't quite so enjoyable anymore. I do like how you don't have to trudge through all the areas you've previously cleared in order to get to a new one, but the dark floors are nothing if not annoying, and leave me wishing I was playing the game on an emulator so I could just switch that layer off. The 3rd door up's boss was annoying as well, because I kept making Link jump in the holes when I was trying to have Zelda attack the boss, but yeah, it's done anyways, and I might have started exploring the Ocean Realm if I hadn't become extremely tired at that point, and decided to call it a night.

Also yesterday, as noted right at the end of my previous entry, I was sent the partially-colored version of my reference sheet. Suffice it to say, after checking with them and explaining what I wanted, I paid another $5 for the colors to eventually be changed, because what I was picturing before just doesn't work. Too many bright colors against the brown and black of the spots, which I tried to look past at first, but they just didn't work.` At least they're being changed though, and I also wanted the spots tweaked a bit, so that $5 really went towards multiple things. As for all other commissions, no word from them, but there are only two of concern who haven't sent me even a message saying "Sorry, but I haven't been able to make any progress yet" in at least a week, and I'm fully prepared to send them both an email asking how things are coming either on or by Saturday, if need be.

As for other unsorted bits of interest, the only one that comes to mind now is starting work an hour early tonight, so from 7 - close. Steve starts at the same time though, so we should easily be able to get the floors cleaned and other normal stuff caught up before 11, and after that it will hopefully be a normal close again. Might take some change with me so I can head around to 7-11 on the way home as well, but for the moment that depends on which route I take. Anything other than walking straight home and yes, but otherwise no, as there are cookies and whatnot else to enjoy here. And while I'm on this topic of food, I'm going to take the opportunity to go downstairs for some cereal, most likely followed by Spirit Tracks, but I still have another four and a half hours here. Plenty of time to get to everything~
