Problem Solved in 10 Minutes

I should've done that much earlier. For the past couple months I've been putting off going to Money Mart time and again, because I didn't think explaining my problem there would solve it, yet I did today, after deciding there was no point delaying the visit any longer, and walked out with $30 refunded to my card. After they kept her on hold for a good ten minutes, the lady behind the desk explained that they hadn't fully switched things over when they gave me a Visa to replace my Mastercard. A statement I feel is almost certainly a lie, because there was a least a month between getting the new card and asking to switch plans, but anyways, it should be fixed now, and by logging into the site I see my balance is $48.68 instead of 18-something, so yay <3 Now, as previously stated, Tim Hortons just needs to start accepting Visa and I'll be all set, but it's probably better that they don't quite yet.

Going out to Dollarama and Walmart was almost equally as fun, because as I walked up to the checkout at the former store, the clerk looked me up and down and eventually said "Alright. I just wanted to make sure I was seeing what I thought I did" and another lady behind me in line saw fit to ask "Are you a cat or a leopard?" Snow leopard, ma'am, but until more people realize the distinction between large and small like you have, I won't fuss. As for Walmart, the fun thing there was finding where they've moved the 8-packs of peanut butter cups to now. Right out in the middle of the aisle between the food and clothing sections, and they're still priced at 97 cents, so I'll almost certainly be going out for more after I set aside money for Fathers' Day supper and a new shirt and pair of pants from my next pay. What I said yesterday about wanting to see other people bring snacks to share at work still stands, but I can't pass up the opportunity to get more while they're still on sale. The rest of the night wasn't nearly as interesting, but it was fun walking around and such <3 I may end up doing more of the same tomorrow as well, but that depends on whether or not I get enough sleep, and if I can figure out something else to do along the way to justify the trip. For what it's worth I want to go to Shoppers, as they're supposed to have cases of pop on sale, but aside from getting a Fathers' Day card there as well, I can't think of anything else that would merit going out.

On a slightly different note, I think Trish may be making an appearance tomorrow, as earlier this afternoon everybody was downstairs making a commotion and I heard Naomi yell "Welcome to Canada!", but haven't seen any sign of her since then. Adam also vacuumed the dining room floor and Naomi dried and put her dishes away, both of which are unlike them to do, so we'll see. I'd like to finally meet this woman, but like I was figuring before, the first time we see each other will probably be when I'm just on my way out the door. Although it's funny to think how eager Adam must be getting if I'm this impatient. Heard him talking to her online when I got home earlier, and the bit I can remember right now was about him wanting to propose in front of all of us to show how serious he was, but yeah. I'm still taking this in the "It doesn't quite register" mode, but whatever. Family or not, it isn't my place to intervene, and if this is the lady he wants to spend the rest of his life with (I've heard that before), then that's great, and I'm happy for them. I will admit the thought of attending the ceremony is a bit daunting, but only in the sense that I haven't a clue what will be expected of me outside of attending. Yeah.

Anyways, I have some questions to answer in another tab now, and some wallpapers to download that I've had the page open for all week thus far, so I'm off to take care of them. My goal is to be asleep by 7:30 tonight~
