Bad Shift...

It started out good, even though I ended up getting put on drive through, but then just went downhill from there.

Good God. I just drank the glass of root beer I brought home, and now I'm shaking all over. It's very annoying... as for work though, I ended up dropping an entire container of fresh Pico on the floor, for one thing. The best part about it was that when I went into the walk-in to grab it, the thought crossed my mind that it'd suck to end up dropping the stuff. Then Josh (the shift manager, and the one who had made the stuff I dropped) got all pissed, went out to the dining room, and demanded that I make some more. Woo. So I learned how to make pico tonight. That's one of the few good things that happened.

Then at the end of our (extremely long) bar rush, which lasted for a good hour, Josh thought he'd be funny, and made as if he was taking an order from someone in the drive through. If he hadn't gotten so carried away, we might've actually fallen for it. First of all, he was "taking" the order while he was standing on line, when he'd normally have to be down in drive through to ring it in, and the order he was taking was supposedly three family packs. Due to only having 5 pounds of beef down, and him not reacting in any way like he normally does when there's a big order, I started to get suspicious.

The time when Manoah did that was more convincing, just because it was only one family pack, and he actually rang it in. I wasn't going to fall for the same thing twice though :p

So for the hour after that, no more cars came at all, so we closed at 3:55, and were out of there at 4:40. Pretty good. I work with John and Jerome tomorrow night, so that shouldn't be too bad either.

Earlier on tonight though Josh asked me if I wanted to go see a movie with "us" (I'm assuming Kevin and Rob (friends of his)). "Epic Movie" or something along those lines is what we're going to see, and I have a feeling what I think of when I hear the word "epic" is going to be an entirely different thing than what's in the movie. We're going to the 4:00 show though, so I guess I'm going to have to be up for 3.

It's almost 7 in the morning right now though, so I guess I should be trying to get to sleep.
