Of everywhere I went and everything I bought yesterday, I would classify about $25 of it as being frivolous. Spent $11 at Dollarama on cashews and candies and pepperoni sticks that I don't need, and $5 at Food Basics on a package of turkey sausage-things that were gone within the evening, and actually bought a case of Pepsi for Adam because they were still on sale and I was feeling bad for him after hearing a message he left on the answering machine early that morning about how things there (in Arkansas) were going really badly (I can't remember the exact words he used now, but his tone of voice made it sound like somebody had died...). I might not actually give it to him now that I've learned that things going badly was the result of somebody who lives with him and Trish learning of something that they'd previously tried to keep from that person. I'm not saying "Don't have secrets at all", but if you have to walk around on eggshells when other people are nearby, don't be surprised when, if those secrets come out, things turn ugly. As for him being there in general though, apparently he won't be back until next week, which means he won't be here for going to Oaks Inn on Sunday morning. Naomi is bringing a friend along, so that will make five people again, but what's going to happen with my Easter egg hunt idea? Should I bring them to work on Sunday, distribute them throughout the dining room, and invite whoever ends up closing it to search for them? It's an option, but not nearly as fun. Oh well. I made cookies last night and will definitely be bringing some of those in this afternoon, so once they run out, perhaps I will switch over to sharing chocolate eggs.
Anyways though, since I can't think of anything else to say today, I'm going to see if I can't figure out how to solve these converting issues. There has to be something I've done differently for the latter two-thirds...
