All told, I bought a 13-inch Macbook Pro (seriously - see here for proof) with money from my savings account which I'd like to pay myself back, but won't be able to until at least January, along with Christmas gifts, totaling ~$200 thus far, a keyboard cover for the aforementioned Macbook, Brandon's concert ticket, and various other normal things, like a trip to 7-11 on Monday night and so on. To make matters even better, I'd be lucky if I got paid $300 this week, and I already need $200 to put me back up over my limit. Fortunately, Brandon does owe me ~$70, which will be deposited into my checking account as soon as possible after he gives it to me, and James and one of his friends want me to make half a cookie pizza and a batch of peanut butter cup cookies for them, which I should get a ~$10 profit from, as I have most of the things needed already, left over from going to Toronto. Speaking of baking from a completely different angle for a moment though, Warren told me something rather nice on Monday night. He took a couple pieces of my cake home back on the 10th, and gave them to Charlene (either his girlfriend, or wife), who is somewhat of a more professional baker. Apparently she said it tasted amazing, and that I could bake a cake for her anytime, which is a nice compliment coming from her. As for baking a cake for her anytime, that won't happen, unless I should decide to make another one in December, but probably not.
Anyway, yeah. Money is kind of an issue right now, but I'm currently holding off making any specific plans for it until I get my pay stub at work tonight. Originally I was going to leave at 6:30 so I'd have time to go to Money Mart before work, and to withdraw $20 to give Mom for gas, but thankfully neither of those are necessary now. I already have enough on my Visa to pay for the internet, and I gave Mom the $20 bill I had left over from buying this laptop (for I paid for it in cash <3) and $10 in change, so unless I decide to go to 7-11 on the way home, or to Food Basics before work for some cheese and margarine (I need both), no money will be spent tonight. Going to Food Basics is kind of necessary though, because I need both margarine and cheese to use the various things I have in the basement fridge - buns that I've been using to make garlic bread, and flatbread that I've been using to make grilled cheese. Sure, I could do without either of those, and be happy with peanut butter and jam or somesuch, but I don't think I'm quite that desperate yet.
As for anything else, it will have to wait, because I want to leave for work early. I don't think I've ever walked to work while there was a tornado watch before, and it does sound quite windy out there <3
