Some Signs of Improvement

If the way I feel today is any indication, my previously-mentioned problem of waking up with a headache was indeed caused by stress. The only thing really on my mind when I went to bed last night was the thought of having to wake up early to go to Wallaceburg, and I slept quite fine aside from that. The aches mentioned yesterday (mostly in the back of my head) are still present, but lessened somewhat, and I got an extra hour and thirty minutes of sleep when we got home, which will hopefully get me through the night better than the past couple closes. Following tonight, I obviously have Monday off, and then work Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday again, as used to be normal, but until I looked at the schedule again, I didn't notice one slight change. My shift on Tuesday is a scant three hours long, provided I'm not asked to stay later, and if I'm not, well, I suppose I'll see then. Prior to writing this, I was all for the idea of going straight home again, to rearrange my room and go out for snacks, but now that I think about it, early-ending shifts like that are extremely rare for me, so I should make use of it. I'm just not sure what I could do, and still afford what with Manoah still having the money I was going to put toward those expenses, plus I really don't know what will happen. As noted, I don't work those shifts more than a couple times a year, so I have no way of knowing how they normally go.

Work aside, breakfast / lunch / brunch today was nice. The layout of the whole buffet had been drastically changed, and there were even some new things to try, but as per usual, I ate no more than two plates of food and one slice of pie for dessert. Probably sufficient for the entire day, but I'll see what there is to be had when I get home later. I still have quite a few things to make meals with, either in my room or down in the basement, and less than a month with which to see they don't go to waste, and also find a balance in the consumption of so that I don't overeat, which is a nice predicament. Tom even asked last night if I had bought any Easter candy, and although I told him no at the time, because I haven't, the thought simply didn't occur to me. Easter candy? Why? Chocolate alone has its limits, and I'll still go out to 7-11 and Tim Hortons from time to time between now and the end of the month regardless of how much food I have, so I'm not about to introduce candy into the mix as well. Otherwise though, it's been a normal day, and I hope for a normal night as well, what with it being nine minutes to, with no word from Laura yet. I told her before I left last night that if she felt it necessary, she could call me in early tonight, but I suppose it could just as well be that she did call, and whoever answered the phone assumed I was sleeping, and didn't want to wake me up. I should go check to be sure, and I don't think there's much else to say right now, so this will be done right here~
