[13:20] Go to Dollarama in the mall and purchase an assortment of things. Mostly vacuum bags.
[13:30] Go to Coffee Culture for a lunch date, and to meet up with Patrick.
[15:30] Stop at Canada Trust as our first destination amongst running around.
[15:32] Transfer the remainder of my savings account (~$460) to my checking, and then close my savings. Done
[15:34] Puzzle through how much money to withdraw. Teller says she can keep track as I go along.
[15:35] $300 for moving expenses. $200 spending money. $120 rent. $20 gas. $640 total.
[15:36] Be told that I can increase my credit limit by $2,000, after having already been given the same offer online. Say yes.
[15:37] With a new tentative credit limit of $6,000, be told that I can actually increase it by $6,000. $10,000? Why the hell not?
[15:40] Back at the van, distribute money as we apparently are on our way to Value Village, but are actually headed to Walmart.
[15:50] Stop at the other Canada Trust along St. Clair because I forgot to pay what I had to for my taxes this year.
[16:00] Go to McDonalds to get fries for Conner, and a couple drinks for ourselves. The new pop machine is quite something.
[16:30] Be on the way out to Walmart.
[17:00] Purchase some more stuff - snacks, fabric, another journal book- and look at shoes for Conner
[17:10] Jen has a dilemma about wanting a New 3DS. It's right there, and I tell her I could afford it. Not helpful to her.
[17:20] She asks her mom if we can go home, get my credit card, and come back, after my proposing the idea.
[17:40] Stop at Dollar Tree on the way back into Chatham. Jen freaks out over finding containers with black pawprints.
[18:10] Arrive back at home, and take everything upstairs.
[18:15] Fight with my PSP trying to convert music so I can have it to listen to.
[18:30] Grab my credit card, give Butters a scoop, and head back down.
[18:35] On the way to Walmart again we go. Jen is surprisingly composed.
[19:00] Get stuff. Dress pants for work, Kirby and the Rainbow Curse, and oh, a New 3DS.
[19:01] Jen is off doing her own thing the entire time. I've already paid and am ready to go before she notices.
[19:10] End up running into somebody I used to know in high school, and awkwardly talk for a bit.
[19:15] Jen and his girlfriend exchange cell phone numbers, and we head off to see if pop and / or strawberries are on sale
[19:40] Head all the way over to Value Village (finally) in hopes of finding a camo shirt. Come away with pants instead.
[19:55] Go through the Swiss Chalet drive thru to get Jen's mom supper as thanks for the extra running around.
[19:56] I'm too distracted by what's next door - the party store. Oooh.
[19:57] Jen up and tells her mom that she wants to go see what they have, and I sure as hell follow.
[20:10] Too much stuff to decide. I want balloons, but only grab a couple leopard pencils by the time Jen's ready to check out.
[20:11] Grab a couple random packages of printed balloons, pay and go back outside to find her mom waiting for us.
[20:30] Finally arrive back at home. Begin thinking about... other ideas for supper.
[20:35] While deciding on supper, Jen makes note of pictures I would like on her phone, as alternate repayment for the New 3DS.
[20:50] Online order is placed, and I relocate to the couch to look at the New 3DS.
[20:51] Nintendo decided to downsize from SD to microSD cards in the newer model. Jen's face is overwhelming disappointment.
[21:00] I come up with an idea to use one of the microSD cards from my PSP games stick, since I don't use it anymore.
[21:05] Begin copying all the data off, so there's a backup.
[21:30] Food arrives. The delivery guy seems pleased with the ~$7 tip. On a ~$53 order.
[22:00] We eat and watch Steins;Gate. And try to discourage horny Butters from rubbing against everything in existence.
[22:10] A shower is decided upon, so I go off ahead of Jen so she can smoke.
[22:15] I once again tell Jen that I really like having primed her mom to expect us wanting to go to the party store in the future.
[22:30] Back in the living room, we don't waste too much time getting to other things. Things I purchased earlier. They were fun.
[12:00] PSP game data has finished copying, and I begin 3DS system transfer. Then get the grand idea to take my PSP apart.
[12:30] Manage to fix the power button hold issue, but also manage to crack a corner of the screen. Balls.
[01:00] Dig around in the bedroom for a while trying to find the other PSP. No luck.
[01:10] Purchase a replacement screen online. Only ~$15.00. Wow.
[01:30] While Jen continues to look for the other PSP, I put the broken one back together. And misplace the start button too.
[01:35] More quick searching later, purchase a set of replacement buttons, for ~$5. Camo, of course.
[02:30] Massively slow system transfer finally completes, and I play a couple games at Jen's recommendation.
[03:00] Give the (New) 3DS to Jen, and do something or another on my own for a bit.
[03:45] Decide it's timebed, have milk, and fall asleep.
Where money is concerned, at the beginning of the day, I had ~$460 in my savings, and ~$850 in my checking. Also, I owed ~$210 on my credit card. As of now, my savings account has been closed, so I have only checking, which is at about $250, and credit, and my credit card, which had been paid off, is now sitting at ~$340. Woo. I miss the time when going out had to wait until the week after I'd been paid. At least then, it felt like my money was lasting a bit longer.
As for today, there isn't too much going on yet, but I would like to have my leftovers from last night and do whatever over here for a bit. Perhaps hook up the WiiU and play the game I got yesterday. I really should~
