Lost or Stolen?...

First thing. Somewhere between last time I closed (Thursday night) and yesterday evening, I lost my earphones. I partially suspect Naomi of taking them, because Adam has his own headphones, Mom and Dad don't have much of a need for such a thing, and up 'till now, they've always been left on my top bunk, or in one of my pockets by mistake. So sometime today (obviously after I get to sleep), it looks like I'll be heading out to either Staples or Zellers to buy a new pair.

Yeah, I do have the earphones that I bought after I lost the pair that originally came with my PSP, but they're broken, and the only other pair I have are of the sort that you'd get with the PSP Giga Pack (if they're even still selling it), and they absolutely suck. I tried using them after we'd closed tonight, and the left one was rubbing against the edge of my ear in an annoying way, when it actually stayed in. The right one was fine, but... feh. What's the point of listening to music if you can only hear it on one "side"? :p

But Mom most likely has to work tomorrow, and probably plans on going to Curves as well, so I'll probably have to be up earlier than I'd like, but whatever.

Well, actually, maybe not. I don't know what in particular caused it (but I partially suspect lack of "decent" sleep, weird sleeping schedule (staying up 'till 8 in the morning, and getting out of bed at 4 in the afternoon right now) and so on). At work tonight, I was cleaning the dining room, and had just finished doing something or other around one of the garbages, when I just started asking myself "How much more can I keep doing this? I'm sick and tired of closing, but with what happened on Friday, I don't think I'd be able to do too many supper shifts either."

So I dunno :\ A couple other possible factors could be how hot it was in there tonight (I'm almost positive they had the heat on in the dining room), and also what condition the store was in, coupled with how busy we were. But getting back on topic, I'd like to think a quick and easy fix for this would be to have enough time away from the place to forget what working there is like. It's happened a couple times in the past, and each of those times, it was right after I had three days off, and I do this weekend (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday), so the timing there is perfect.

Either that, or when Shelia asks me again whether or not I plan on working the same week that I'll be watching their dogs, I may very well tell her "No". Then again, if I were to say that, she'd probably assume that I'd be staying over at their house each and every night, and thus give me a key, but meh. Just because I have something doesn't mean I have to use it.

For right now though, I just have to wait for the weekend :3 I work tomorrow, with Jerome and Steve, have a day off after that, then work Wednesday and Thursday (with who, I don't know), and I've already gone over what's happening on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday~

As for what's happening right now though, I'm going to bed. Well, sleep that is. I'm in bed, but I won't be able to sleep 'till I finish writing this :p

And something I noticed after I posted this. Another annoyance with Vista: it periodically (or randomly) likes setting the clock back three hours. So even though the entry time on this says it's 3 in the morning, it's actually 6. Hell. If it was 3:00 in the morning, and I was already tired enough to go to sleep, we'd really be getting somewhere.
